BRIKY, FLAGGY, UKY (and more …) Pop Art Home Office Desks-Dining Tables by Jean-Charles de Castelbajac from ACRILA

These playful Pop Art Home Office Desks-Dining Tables are suitable for kids as well as kids-at-heart grown-ups. They are part of ACRILA’s Collection of furniture designed by world famous French fashion designer Jean-Charles de Castelbajac (please see other creations of the same Collection presented in our relevant posts).

The top surface/plateau of the tables (L 136 x W 80 x H 75 cm) comes in 9 different patterns: BRIKY, FLAGGY, UKY, MAPPY, GRAFFY, VOYOY, NIMMY, CLOUDY and POETY.

The patterns are imprinted on the back of acrylic glass (polymethyl-methacrylate in 15 mm thick sheets) by Digital Laser Printing. The whole process is so precise that it takes hours just to make one of these table tops (PMMA is a transparent and resistant thermoplastic  material that is traded under various trade names such as Plexiglass, Perspex, Altuglass, Lucite , Acrylic etc.).

The table base is in the form of a trestle.
