The VANOISE EXPRESS Cable Cars transformed by Jean-Charles de Castelbajac (2013) for the 10-years anniversary of PARADISKI RESORT

As of December 21st, 2013, the visitors of the PARADISKI WINTER RESORT have the pleasure of admiring and being transported by the VANOISE EXPRESS Double Storey Cable Cars, as these were transformed into an artwork by world-famous fashion designer & artist Jean-Charles de Castelbajac:

This project was commissioned by PARADISKI RESORT to Jean-Charles de Castelbajac (aka JCDC) on a “carte blanche” basis, to celebrate its 10th anniversary of operation (watch the video below enriched with music especially made by MR NÔ):

The PARADISKI RESORT is a ski area located in the heart of the Savoian French Alps comprising Les Arcs, Peisey-Vallandry & la Plagne, with a total of 425 Kilometers of ski slopes, approximately. This makes PARADISKI the second largest ski area in the world, with altitude ranging between 1200 and 3250 meters. Each of the three aforementioned areas has its own cable station, while the entire Resort features the VANOISE EXPRESS, the largest cableway in the world. The entire site offers 169 Ski Lifts, 2 Snow Parks, 5 Boardercross, 4 Boardergliss, 2 Half-Pipes, 2 Toboggan Runs and many safes ski tracks for beginners and advanced skiers alike.

Since, however, “a picture is worth a thousand words”, we include for you this informative video to give you an impressive bird’s eye view of the entire area:
